Start Corporation develops and manages housing sites including houses and apartments.  Other Start Corporation services are available to persons residing within the housing units.   Most housing units are rental units, however, some available for purchase.

This is a 16 unit apartment complex located on Magnolia Stree in Houma, Louisiana.   These are one bedroom apartments dedicated to people with low incomes.  Some of the units are dedicated to persons with mental illnesses.

This program is designed to provide housing and supportive services to individuals and families with disabilities that meet HUD's definition of homeless.  This program works closely with Permanent Supportive Housing of Thibodaux. 

Assumption Home Start (in development)

HUD funded program that provides rural housing for first time home buyers in a new subdivision in Labadieville, Louisiana.   Phase II of the project, construction of 4 homes funded by the Louisiana Housing Corporation HOME funds, is currently underway. This project is funded by Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government HOME funds, a grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, and conventional financing.
