Through an Emergency Shelter Grant, Start Corporation provides daytime social services staff to homeless families with children for up to six months while they work towards self-sufficiency. In addition to providing emergency shelter for up to eight families at a time, supportive counseling, budgeting, and parenting are also provided to participants in order to aid in their journey towards self-sufficiency. This program is funded partially by Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. (Capacity: Program has 8 family rooms)
